About Me

My passion for learning and knowledge sharing led me to the field of speech language pathology. I started my career as a bilingual speech language pathology assistant (SLPA) in early intervention, providing speech services to little ones and their families. However, I wanted to do more for my clients and continued my education in speech pathology. I graduated from New York University with an M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I also attended Utah State University and earned a B.S. in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Studies.

During my studies, I became interested in all forms of communication and providing ways to communicate, whether speech is present or not. By collaborating with clients and their families, we can use evidence-based practices (EBP) to facilitate communication that works best for them. It's wonderful to witness clients use the skills they learned to express their thoughts and ideas.

Aside from providing speech therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, traveling, and exploring new foods. I'm a self-taught artist and enjoy incorporating a variety of arts into our speech sessions. I have many more interests, we might even have one or two in common!
